joe25/06Timney customer service
Anybody had any dealings with Timney? I have called and got a recording, e-mailed and got no response. I would think a company that has been around as long as they have would want to take care of their customers.

vapodogI've been buying Timney triggers for 35 years at least and have never had to use their customer service. Let me find some wood to knock on.....
Sorry to hear you're having this problem.
I buy them from Brownell's and if I had to I'd call Brownells.....they respond well IMO!
Maybe you got yours thru Brownells?

Tex21FWIW,
My gunsmith advised me that the best way to deal with Timney is to write them a letter and explain what the problem is.

My guess is that they have gone hunting. Seems to be a patern of non-response during the fall.

GA DEER HUNTERI ordered a Timney trigger directly from their web site. About a week later I got an e-mail that basically said they were out of triggers and had to wait for thier supplier to get them some more material. I called and told the guy to cancel my order.
I then ordered the same Timney trigger from Brownells and had it two days later.
I agree; their service was poor but their product is excellent.

Vapodog,
What advantages have you noticed with a Timney trigger over the factory REm 700 trigger?
