Model 70 pre-64 safety change
Have an early pre-war M-70 with the early safety. Looking for a transition safety later style that I can put in indefinitely.
Will change it back if I need to. As I recollect upon examination of other Model 70 safeties-Winchester put in a very small driven pin to discourage any internal safety parts movement.

Anyone got an extra pre-64 safety-that would fit properly?

I think that Wisner used to make the Tilden safety lever that you refer to...might check with him

I recently bought some parts from this guy, he was easy to deal with. He would probably have the part you need but it would have to be fitted.
