Syntetic stock for an old rifle?
Hi

I have a Tikka M55 in .243 Win (Also imported as Ithaca LSA 55)
Im planing to rebarrel with a heavier fluted barrel
and the wooden stock I have now (custom stock) dont allow me to remove that much wood to accept a heavier barrel.
I would like a syntetic stock for it, but is it possible to find (McMillan have some but they are expensive)? Is there any stocks (maby for another brand of rifle) that with a little bedding and rework will accept and work with the M55 action?
