Husquvarna Stocks
My brother has a Husky Barrelled action in 30-06 it is a lightweight rifle with CRF, it probably is a M3000 series. Is there a source of reasonably priced stocks for these fine rifles? In Canada?

Hi Dave. If the Husky is the one based on the Mauser 98, there is a guy over on 51st ave here in the city that makes fibreglass parts for cars and stocks. He was selling them through Brownells for a while, they seem to be a well built stock, for around $250-300 Cdn. he should be able to modify one to fit. I'm guessing as to the price, the last one I talked to him about was $225, but that was a while ago. - Dan

Dan: Is this Stuart? I was thinking of calling him re stocks, Much better than the tupperware scrap on new guns. I'll call him.
This action has the sliding safety like an FN. Nice piece.

Yes, that's him. The FiberGlass Store east of 99th on 51st ave. Pretty nice stocks, and very reasonable. - Dan

Whoops, sorry about the double post. Something weird going on, the original didn't show so I posted again and there were two posts. - Dan
