A while backI picked up another Sako Fiberclass in 375 H&H. It cam with a muzzlebreak but no thread protector. What would be the easiest way to acquire one? Does it have to be custom made to fit the rifle? Lou

Because diameters and shank lengths vary, they are usually custom made to fit.

I make these caps just about every time I install a muzzle break as almost invariably the customers complain about the noise when shooting with the brake. It you want them to look good, it's a custom job. A one-size-fits-all cap most likely wouldn't match well.

I could make one for you but would need the barrel to measure and fit one, stainless or blued, $45

That's a good price; I get $50.
