ShortandFatCutting windows in the follower box
Gentlemen
Is there any chance I could trouble one of you with a Remingtom Ultra Mag follower box to photograph it and post the photos.
I'm looking to make some simple windows in my follower box and just want to look at how Remington has done them in their Ultra Mag rifles.
A few simple measurements would be appreciated as well

OK, very simple,
Nothing to do with weight, it's a big bore rifle, I'd like more weight
I have improved my case design, blown the shoulders and case taper out of the walls, and have lost magazine capacity......only just, but one less.
With the windows, it should allow the case walls and shoulders to sit out a little wider, the cases should stack better and I hope I get that extra case back in the mag
Thats always been the reason for the windows, what are you guys talking about. ?????????

I pretty much knew what the answer would be. Just think how much weight a guy could save by using lighter bullets...

Dago RedI thought it was so the cartridges would feel better, having a view and all. that's why people in my office always want windows, so they can see outside.
