Bauska drop in stock
Does anyone make a drop in stock for a bauska bbk-02? Either laminated or synthetic.
Thanks

Shooter BoyMcMillan will make a stock for the Bauska action. Give them a call and tell them what you have and what you want the stock to look like and they will make it for you. You can pick color or colors length of pull etc. Then wait 12-16 weeks and your stock will show up.
You got a web address jeffe?
Thanks

www.mpistocks.comnot my favorite, but they make them for the BBK...
i've got a bbk 02 action and a cz 550 mag stock, i'll take a look at how much work it would be to make it fit

Thanks jeffe, I'm more of a brown precision or mcmillan person myself, but I was looking for something sooner. I'll have to check mpi out and see what you come up with with the cz stock.
Thanks again

Marc_StokeldThe BBK is the same action as the large CZ 550 magnum. If you can find one for the CZ, you can use it on the BBK

jeffeossoMarc,
I bought my bbk action from you
and have several cz stocks... not the same, certainly not a drop in. Remember, les bauska designed the bbk action as a blend from the magnum mauser and the 602. the 602 is what the 550 magnum grew from.

Marc_Stokeldlay a 550 Magnum action and the BBK side by side on your bench and start measuring. They are within a few thousandths here and there. I have done it and know how close they are-at least as close a various Mausers are to each other.
For all practical purposes, they are the same action. Main difference are SI vs. British Imperial threads, and all of the cuts CZ has to make for that abortion of a trigger they insist on using.

jeffeossomarc, you are right, i had it backwards... can't drop a 550 in a bbk inletted stock, as it's at least .050 wider
