KurtCI can only assume that the price includes the house that it is displayed in.

if I was richer than 9 foot up a bulls butt I would not pay 100k for a gun.

cummins cowboyI would say in any event aside from the price, I would say that rifle is at best NRA grade good, and sure as hell far from fine. If you just come out and are honest about the condition people have much more respect for that, plus it does look to be painted with some sort of polyurenthane which would ruin any collector value
What in earth makes that even worth 3k which is the starting price ??

Glen71This guy IS a nut case. He had a "Pre-War M70 264 Win Mag" for sale on the same site. The receiver had about six extra holes and the stock was an unfinished semi-inlet. He described it as "probably a special factory order". I e-mailed to inform him that the 264 Mag cartridge did not exist when that receiver was made and that the stock had never seen the Winchester factory. No reply. The listing ran for months with a $900 starting price, and to my knowledge nobody ever bid on it. The same guy has a re-blued M94 listed now with a $23,000 starting price.

Matt NormanWonder how much it would be without the story? Maybe there are rolled up hundred dollar bills (lots of them!) in the stock. Perhaps he would trade...I have a machine that converts diamonds into jelly beans.

Tex21That much for that mauser? Does it come with breakfast and a cigarette? You know, after you've gotten screwed?
