N. GarrettFarquharson Action construction
I just sent in my check for one of the Farquharson action kits posted here in the Gunsmithing Forum.
Can anyone recommend a 'smith who might take on one of these as project?
Thanks!
Garrett

thefinegunmakerThis is kind of an interesting question. As far as I can tell, it needs to be handeled just like the AR15 forgings and legally needs to be completed by you the owner or by a licensed manufacturer and have a serial number logged in his manufacturing books and 11% excise tax paid to the BATF&E. It would be worth checking out the class offered at Trinidad and finishing it yourself!

tiggertateThe poster "huntingcat" has ordered one to see exactly what is required to do what you ask. He is a licensed manufacturer, makes his own Fraser falling block and may take on various degrees of assembling these as a side item. His hasn't arrived yet so its way too early to tell about costs but you might keep in touch with him.
