Ed Brown Rifles?
What's the word? As good as they seem? Please share info especially if you own or owned one. Thanks.

Yes they are. Arrogant bastards though, cancelled my second custom when it was in the works, wanted to charge me 4 or 5 hundred bucks to go to a different LOP on a synthetic stock that they keep in stock, and would have only required a different thickness of pad.....when I asked was I too late in the process (which was rhetorical as it was less than a week after placing my order) they said that fact didn't matter or affect the cost to make the change....

Having said all that, I had a Damari in 270 Win and it was damn accurate from the very first round, fit and finish was very good, and it was pretty smooth as far as bolt cycling, which I know would have gotten better with a little use. I still think they make a very good gun--and I have experienced arrogrant pricks in this biz before--try HS precision if you like arrogant folks!

I would buy a Custom from someone else myself, there are a lot of great remmy clone actions out there--but then again, Ed has a new push/control feed action....probably just by a Sako 85 instead of that though Wink
It is definitely worth a look at Preston Pritchetts SURGEON rifles first though---really great stuff!
