<Mike Anderson>FN Police rifle
I just noticed some advertised new FN police rifles in .308 win. Action advertised like a pre64, Mcmillan stock, heavy barrel, etc.
That should be a fine setup, anybody have one? Pictures?
I hope FN will market this, I would like to have one!!!

DeBeeI got to inspect one of these closely at the last gun show... Basically a SA Classic action mated to a heavy barrel in a McMillan stock
The rifle seemed to be put together a little tighter than a Model 70 Classic Sporter- maybe it hadn't been broken in yet... Nicely parked.
The barrel is chrome lined. By most reports it is very accurate- maybe surpassing the M700 Police. The dealer swore by it- buy hey he's a salesman- the rifle is nearly double the price of a M700 Police too...
Variations include a detachable box mag or the standard hinged floorplate and 24" or 20" barrel and two different stock styles(A2/A4?)... And yes, I was drooling for a 20" with the standard hinged floorplate- I love that little SA Classic action...
Pics and prices are easily found on our friendly gun auction pages...
