Need help finding a Gunsmith
I am presently wanting to have a 338 WM built. I want it to be a copy of the Remington AWR in weight and finish. I live in WA state and would like to find a smith close to my general area that comes with some GREAT recomendations.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I know that John Ricks is in Washington, and I have heard he is very good. have also communicated with him through e-mail and found him to be a good guy. He is close to Port Angeles I think, somewhere by the water at least.

John Ricks is very good and will not cost you the kids' college money. This is his site.

bluecollar,

Mark Stratton is on the west side of the state (Mukilteo) and Jim Dubell is in Colville. Hard for me to recommend anyone better than these two.
