Mike375Chic,
I could not wrk the PM to start with.
I assume the people that sell the rifles are reputable etc as they seem to have some high dollar gear for sale.

I bought a rifle from Mr. Hallowell and had no problems at all with the transaction. I would buy from him again.

ForrestBHallowell's is very reputable. I'd have no qualms about dealing with them.
FWIW, that custom rifle is a bargain. I can't for the life of me understand why someone would pay $5,000 for a factory Dakota or a Winchester instead of paying the same amount for that rifle. Replacement cost on that custom rifle is close to $10,000.
Used custom rifles are the biggest bargain around. If I had any sense at all, I'd forego the entertainment value of having rifles built and instead buy used ones that suit me.

Mike375Gentlemen,
Many thanks. I just sent a copy of this thread to my mate and told him what upstanding people you were and as such your endorsement of the selling company was of value.
