Re-chamber a 17 Mach II to a 17 Rem Fireball?

Posting for a friend that has a Win 1885 low wall in 17 Mach II and is wondering if it is possible, without moving the earth and stars, to re-chamber to a 17 Remington Fireball. Particularly curious if the firing pin will function without a lot of work.
