ADL to BDL : SA

I found a BDL style short action (SA) stock that I wonder if it can be used for my wife's youth length / cut down 6mm Remington in an ADL conformation. She is full size now. :-)

I was hoping to go the Kwik Klip route but looks like they are LA only?

Yes, just need a new mag box and bottom metal. The screws might need to be trimmed, but that is pretty darn easy.

Parts are available at Brownells and frequently on the classifieds.

You "could" cut down the ADL box to work, but for the modest asking price of a BDL box, it's hardly worth the effort.

HS Precision used to make a detachable mag system for the 700 short action that could also be used.

Thank you. I have a stock, no bottom metal.

I see Brownell's has a kit for 140 bucks (!!!)

Looking for cheaper route and doesn't need to be DM. Had to fix a .280 Rem BDL DM with a Kwik Klip -- threw rounds out the port!!

Badger and HS are half another rifle...
