JiriOpinion on .458/.408 chet-tac cartridge ?
What is your opinion about this one ? Now, I belive .408 chey tac brass will be aviable, it will be modern constructed to withstand high pressures, .458/.408 could be easy fireformed I hope, only problem is enought long action or to use single action (bolt or falling block). What perfomance could I ecpect from "hunting length" barrel ? I know recoil could be problem but . . .

DutchI've seen it at LRBT, saw the targets they shot with it, but never shot it myself. Seems like a good "middle ground" between the .308 cals and the 50 BMG. There aren't many VLD bullets to use in that cal, and the LRBT bullets are receiving mixed reports. FWIW, Dutch.
