aHunterReplacement stock for CZ 550
I consider a CZ 550 in .375 as my next gun. I want the model with open sights ( of course ).
The standard stock is too thin, I look from the right side at the sights. The Luxus stock has too much drop. Now I figured, I might put on a synthetic stock with classic dimensions and have a gun for world-wide huntin. Would not hurt if it was lighter than the factory one.
Who makes such stocks? Thanks in advance, Hermann
A-Hunter Alan Naumann of Corporal Trading made my cz stock, I am very happy with it. He is howver situated in QLD, Australia and it would require sending him your rifle (I had to any way). If you want his adress e-mail me.

<JoeR>Hermann, American Hunting Rifles in Hamilton Montana can fit your 375 into a gorgeous solid walnut (or laminate if you prefer) dbl cross bolted stock for about $795. While they have the rifle, they can add a bbl band front swivel mount and even the Mod 70 type three position wing safety if you would like. Smooth the action and for a total of about $1500 plus the price of your CZ, you would have a DGR that would rank with the best of them. That's the likely route I'm going to take with my BRNO 602 in 375. I agree the current stock is too thin and I cracked one on my BRNO and CZ only warrrantees stocks they put on themselves. I considered the McMillan, but to be done right and properly bedded, it is over $500 which makes the walnut look even better!
