Question about FFL?
To all,

This is the first time I have been one the Gunsmithing board and figured that you guys would know the answer to my questions about getting an FFL.

From all the applications and information I have received so far, I have yet to see any information about the cost of having an FFL.

If you don't mind, what does it cost to get an FFL?

What is the initial cost and what are the yearly fees?

Just curious as I am looking into starting my own small custom shop? Just never looked into what an FFL costs.

There are alot of people I could ask but I figured you guys would be quicker.

Thanks for your time.

Good Shooting!!!

Go to ATF online and download the forms. All the information is there. You need form ATF F 5310.12 (Form 7) for a regular FFL

Download at this address: http://www.atf.treas.gov/forms/5000.htm#firearms

Fifty,
it's $200 for the first time of 3 years, $90 to renew... and it USED to be 30 bucks.

Unless you have a building/shop that is open to the public, it's going to be a large hassle.

Here's all the info you'll need
http://www.atf.treas.gov/firearms/nlc/ffl/ffl_types.htm

and this is a good reference

Fiftydriver,
You can't download the form you need because of the fingerprint cards. You can request it online and they will send it through the mail.
