Keith style stocks
I was looking at Julia's auction website and the Keith rifle and was thinking it would be neat to have a Keith styled stock.

Anyone have one of his patterns?

Are you talking about the Champlin-Haskins Keith Grade? As in presented to Elmer?

All of his bolt guns have similar stocks.

The Champlin would be great though.

Still working on the list, and finding other photos. Google works too.

You might check with Walnut Grove Gunstocks. They bought a lot of GAG's machines, tooling, patterns, etc. They may have a pattern. GAG offered what they called a Rollover Sporter, very similar to what you are looking for. WG maybe offer it .

Keith liked Mote Carlo combs which makes perfect sense because it is a good stock design. The stocks have enough drop at the heel to fit well offhand but a high enough comb to allow consistent head placement. None feature a rollover comb which serves no purpose. Regards, Bill.

Richards; I have used many of them; great for shooting; but I still like looking at old Oberndorf Classics best.

Very similar to the GAG Rollover I mentioned.

Yep, only difference is that richards still makes them for damn near every rifle ever made. In fact, I have one for sale for a small ring Mauser. I think I will put it in the classifieds.
