Who makes a steel (preferably stainless) M70 magazine follower for 30-06?

Just curious, why is the factory M70 follower disliked.
I have a M70 Supergrade 30-06 w/ this follower and it feeds and functions as well as anything I've ever seen. By accident, I discovered it corrected a last round feed problem in a CZ 375H&H of mine. I've since put it in 5 other CZs w/ feed issues and it corrected all of them.
Maybe it is a fluke w/ mine, but I think it is a well made reliable follower.

JaywalkerGaryVA, So far, I don't dislike the installed follower, but as it's made of carbon, it will be difficult to modify for feeding improvement, should that be necessary. I understand followers should be optimized for the cartridge, not "one size fits all."
Fjold, I'll watch for Wisner's site, thanks.

Jaywalker,
The follower I speak of is an alloy steel unit like the older MIM extractors were. It is a poor choice for a spring extractor but I don't see it as a problem w/ the follower. Unless something has changed, this was the follower used on every Supergrade and Safari Express I've seen over the last numerous years.
For your rifle, any one from a 30-06, 270 and 25-06 should be the same and should work as perfect as anything. There should be plenty available even w/ the plant closing.
Good Luck

JaywalkerGary, all I've seen lately - SN 3 million+ have had carbon followers, not steel or alloy. (I have two of them, both stainless.) They're nice looking, but I'm concerned they're optimized for WSMs.
Jim, I presume the pre-64 followers will work in a new Classic?

ACRecurve www.brownells.comThey may have some left. I bought 2 to replace the plastic ones in a couple of CZ's.
Good hunting,

My newest w/ the alloy follower is SN G3014094 and the oldest is about 3 or 4 years older. Everyone between has it as well.

Well Jim at least I remembered that you made them, even if I couldn't find you.
