keystone hog hunterRemington 721

vapodogIt shouldn't be that difficult to find someone with a M-700 stock to let you trial fit your 721 to it. I think it can be made to fit nicely and maybe you can even fit Rem 700 bottom metal to that M-721 and stock as well!
If you're interested I have a fairly decent M-721 takeoff stock with decelerator attached and a walnut root wood forend tip. Darn things just aren't scope friendly!

eddieharrenThere have been many 721 and 722 rifles placed in 700 stocks. If your 721 is an early model you may have to inlet the barrel channel for the "dogknot" rear sight hump. 700 BDL bottom metal also requires inletting. As for finding a Weatherby style stock you may have to go the "Custom" route.

Oscar MakonkaIt's pretty easy to put a take off 700 stock on the 721 and the BDL bottom metal will work fine. [IMG:top]

[/IMG] A little wood removal around the safety and the site boss on the barrel. You may have to do a little filing on the magazine box depending on its configuration to make it fit properly
