CAN SOMEONE RECOMMEND A HOUSEHOLD RELEASE AGENT FOR THE BEDING COMPOUND OR POXIE. I DONT HAVE ANY OF THE COMMERCIAL AGENT LEFT AND DO NOT WANT TO BUY ANOTHER KIT FOR THIS PROJECT. I WAS WONDERING ABOUT VASELINE OR AUTO WAX BUT HAVE NO PERSONAL EXPERIENCE WITH EITHER.??? THANKS JIM.

I just used some old turtle was liquid auto wax, rubbed it on with my fingers.

Worked great.

I heard pam cooking spray can be used too.

I use Johnsons paste wax. I suspect any kind of wax would work.

I also use Johnsons floor wax, wax shoe polish works real well...any good paste wax will work.

Another recommendation for Johnson's paste wax here.

It does a good job filling in small depressions (like trigger pin holes) so I like it better than the release agents which are liquid and dry to a film.
