30-06 lengh rem actions

I have a 30-06 remington SPS just sitting around the house and im having thoughts about redoing it. What calibers can i put in the action? I like these choices 338-06 and 35 whellen. I would really like to go with the 338-06, what barrel do you recomend. Im also looking for a wood stock under 450 that is completely finished and inletted.

both those rounds will easily fit your action.

Look for a used BDL or CDL stock for your new barreled action...it's the least cost way to go.

You might actually just trade your SPS for a BDL or a CDL rifle and then you already have the stock you want.
