Speedlock Firing Pin assembly
I was just looking at the Callahan Rem 700 Speedlock Firing Pin Assemblies in Midway and thought about an upgrade. Do any of guy have experience with this model? Is this one okay or is there a better one?

I've got a Callahan in my 722, it's a fine unit, and cuts weight while reducing locktime. good buy

Dwight, you might also take a look at the unit manufactured by Greg Tannel (GTR). There was an article in Precision Shooting awhile back comparing the various Rem 700 replacement pin/shroud assemblies and the GTR unit rated first in lighteness and lock time. It is a fluted aluminum pin with a steel tip.

Greg's number is (970) 353-6176 in Colorado.
