Re: Drilling Gunsmith
I agree with Rusty 100%. JJ has worked on my 2 British Doubles and on my wifes Drilling. Her Drilling had a "plastic" trigger guard like many of them do. It cracked and broke, and I took it to him to see if he could order another one from Sauer in Germany. He said sure, but it will break too, why don't you let me make one out of steel.
He did and it looks and fits EXCELLENT. I have seen a lot of his work and it is great.
He also does excellent claw mounts, they work great on a Drilling.

My Drilling from pre-war Germany needs an engraved screw replaced.

Can anyone recommend a 'smith to me who does work on these guns?

Thanks,

Garrett

Try JJ Perodeau at Champlin Firearms, Enid OK.
CHAMPLINS
Just ask for JJ. His work is trusted by several member of this forum. Perhaps someone like Scrollcutter could match the engraving?
