Sako scope ring inserts?

Sako scope ring inserts?
I am trying to find a set of scope ring inserts for my Sako rings? I.D. on rings is 1.023" and the are beveled to the center on the inside and the with of the rings is .533". Do they use inserts or do I have 26MM rings? HELP! THANKS JDB

Certainly sounds like you have a set of 26MM rings. 26MM rings have an ID of 1.0236
Don't know if anyone has any inserts for this set up to 1" You could try .012 shim stock to adapt. Don't know if it would hold up to recoil. Hope this helps you.

If it is a SAKO mount of current manufacture it uses plastic inserts. The SAKO mount with the plastic inserts is made to work with both 1" and 26 mm scope tubes, with the same plastic inserts. At least that is what it says on the box.
