Compared to what?

As far as Mausers go, they are solid actions with good heat treatment. Lot' less expensive than trying to build from a Milsurp action. That said, you have to look at its current condition.

That's my next step is to go take a peek at it. I just wanted to find out about the action. Thanks.

Hmmmm I guess I only have about a dozen and have plenty others. ONLY issue I ever had was a couple seemed to be over polished. Rounded some of the edges and holes. They make a great base for a rifle. Not collector but great function.
