trouthunterdjWhat aftermarket trigger for a Mark X?
Hello all,
I have a new build in the works and was looking for a new trigger with saftey for an Interarms Mark X. Can anyone give me some direction or reccomenations? The only one I saw in stock at MidwayUSA was a KAR 98.
Thanks for the help,

ramrod340While I clean up and leave the MKX trigger on most of mine I have used the Timney and Bold. I prefer the timney. The bold functions fine however I don't like their safety knob to me it sticks up to high.
Looks like the Timney site has them.
http://timneytriggers.com/suns...=product_detail&p=33Boyds sells the bold but appear on back order.
http://www.boydsgunstocks.com/...-TRIGGER-p/op-98.htmAny trigger for the FN will also work. The Kar will work in a pinch the trigger lever is about 1/4" forward.
As usual just my $.02

TailgunnerI'm happy with the Canjar on my Mark-X. When Mr Canjar built it for me, I had him include his tang safety option

Unfortunately, they are gone. Nice units when you could get one.
If you can find the adjustable MK X trigger on an action site, they can be tuned pretty well.

Jim KobeI have replaced the original with the Timneys. One word of caution, if you use the Featherweight Timney vs. the sportsman, you will need to open up the sear opening in the rear tang; the Fwt one hangs up there.

umshiniwamThere is a significant price difference between the Bold & Timney.
Is the Timney over-priced, or is it that good?

The real question is "is the Bold that bad".

I have several Bolds. They adjsut just fine. The major issue I have is the bolt lever sticks way to high in my book. I end up cutting it off and making it about 1/4" shorter.
