I believe he will make them but you will have to check with him. Im pretty sure he needs the action to make the bases.

Oh thats how conetrols work? pointy cone shaped set screws. Ive never seen a close up before

I am currently having bases such as these made by jim for my short action MRC 1999, but for Talley QD rings.

Very nice work and I look forward to seeing his work on my rifle.
