Crossbolts for BRNO 602
Would you think a BRNO 602 in the factory stock needs to have one or more crossbolts installed before shooting. Rifle is chambered in .375 H&H, and the original factory stock appears to be a dense, somewhat utilitarian grade of Turkish walnut?

If crossbolts are needed to prevent stock splitting, who might be a good gunsmith to install them in a reasonable time frame?

My 602 stock in.375 H&H never split until I re-barreled it to .416 Rigby. I would think that if it hasn't been done, a good glass bedding job would be in order.

Hundreds and hundreds of rounds through my ZKK 602 and not a problem. I glass bedded it just because a while back.

I have two 375s, one 458Lott, no crossbolts, no problems.
