Lyman 57 on a Model 54?

Lyman 57 on a Model 54?

I'm having trouble locating a 48wjs for my 54. Will a new 57 work on this rifle? Its of the early style (1927) and will be restocked so the slide cut is negotiable. Thanks for the help!!
(Of course if anyone has a 48wjs they'd like to part with....)

Ironically, Ebay just went through a heavy period of Lyman 48 WJS listings.........4 still listed.

They aren't cheap....

As Grandview mentioned, there are several Lyman 48 WJS on ebay, but to answer your question, a Lyman 57 W or WJS will fit your model 54.
