I just saw this on Br.com and think it is very nice for what it is for.

DMBThat was a great find... WOW, what excellent work went into that rifle. I never saw an engraved gun at a BR match.
Thanks for the post and link,
Don

ramrod340Very nice looking rifle. I sure like the wood vs the wild paint jobs you see today.

butchlambertAll 3 of my BR rifles have wood stocks. I like the look, but more importantly they fit me. I believe they absorb vibrations much better.

eddieharrenGeez! Most of the "experts" on this, and other forums, claim those old 722s' aren't worth a darn. Just a rough pre-700 with a crappy extractor.

Didn't they put Sako extractors in some of the old 722's?
When I started shooting Benchrest competetively in 1970, they were using Rem 700's sleeved, but I don't remember many 722's on the line though.
All wood stocks back then.. I loved them, and was sorry when the fiberglass craze hit the scene.
