Barrel Tenon?

McCrayBarrel Tenon?
What mainstream, commonly seen bolt action has the shortest barrel thread tenon?
I know Remington has a relatively long tenon, Winchester is shorter, but what about a Mauser, Ruger or whatever?

WestpacArisaka!
How short do you need? At 4:42 a.m. and without that first cup of coffee, I will say of those you mentioned, the Mauser is probably the shortest.

McCrayThanks fellas!
This was from a discussion of which was shortest.
And some BS claims about accuracy needed for a hunting rifle.

With 4 rounds in a typical magazine and one in the tube, why would anyone really care about accuracy in a hunting rifle.

Old age is a high price to pay for maturity!!! Some never pay and some pay and never reap the reward. Wisdom comes with age! Sometimes age comes alone..

ClemsonJust for the fun of it, I looked "Barrel Threads" up in My NRA Gunsmithing Guide. The shortest shown is the Mauser at 0.625". Longest at 1.565" is the Savage 99. Notables are Winchester Mod 70 at 0.728", Savage 110 at 1.565", 1903 Springfield at 0.734", and U.S. 1917 Browning Machine Gun at 0.650". The fattest tenon shown is the Model 98 Mauser at 1.100"
