amazing ideas. I try to avoid such fascinating projects, as they are hard to put into reality here. I have reached the limit of my my gun licenses, and I am not allowed to have more. A very good reason for falling into a depression.
Go on with your ideas - its always fascinating to take part of all creativity!!!
Best regards,
Fritz
this 8x99 wouldn't happen to be connected to the 7.92 Panzerbauche 39, described in "20th Century Artillery"by Ian Hogg as "...normal caliber as the service rifle but the actual cartridge used a large case which had been developed for a 13mm (.51in) weapon...the PzB39 was a single shot weapon useing a verticle sliding breech block which was opened by pushing forward and down on the pistol grip. a 'quick-loader' clip of 5 rounds could be attached to the right side of the action for rapid reloading. the bullet contained a hardened steele core and a tiny capsule of tear gas; the intention was that the bullet would enter the tank and the tear gas would then disperse and force the occupants to leave. it didn't work; the core penetrated but the capsule was almost always left out side the plate".

It's basically an 8mm (7.92mm) bullet on a grossly over size case packed w/ powder. and the gun has a folding but stock...looks excruciating.
