Want to find a Mauser DST screw
I have tried Champlin's and NECG without success. I wondered if anyone could provide any leads to follow in trying to locate the small adjustment screw for Mauser double set trigger assembly? I have a pre-war sporter that is missing it.

Hi,

Might try Recknagel. They have an extensive listing of exotic screws in their catalog. I cannot read German, but pictures indicate a possibility. I would check for you, but one of my Gnomes straightened my desk.

Luck,

Best thing you could do is find a Gunsmith with a good selection of taps. and have him run different taps through it to figure out the screw size if it is something fairly standard.

Try a hobby shop. When I lived in Anchorage, there was a hobby shop that had all kinds of miniature screws both metric and sae. They were in little bags on a revolving rack. Might not have the right kind of head but...
Good luck.

Thanks, everyone, for your suggestions of these several possible sources. I'll get on 'em. Regards.

I had one that was damaged, I hunted in my screw bins and found a socket head cap screw that fit. I'd remove the trigger guard, go down to a hobby shop or well stocked hardware store and find one.

I just went down to the shop and checked. I have 5 more of the screws that I used to repair the double set I had. It is a standard size, #2 x 56. If you can't find one, pm your address and I'll put one in the mail to you.
