Is it posibal to modifi a bolt face standerd bolt face to accept a bigger cartige ???

I have the chance to pick up a XR-100 action very very cheap .. it has a standerd .472 bolt face and was wondering if it can be opened to .492.. I was thinking of a 22" barrle 30 AR bolt action rifle...

Any competent gunsmith should be able to do this for you in less than an hour. Make sure you check the extractor as the same time.
