307 Winchester in a Contender

Has anyone tried chamabering a 307 Winchester in a Contender pistol. What kind of muzzle velocity do you think you could get safly out of a 14" BBL. I know this case is raided for 52,000 Psi

The answer is NO for the same reasons as 308 Win.

I wouldn't do this unless I had a strain guage as you wouldn't want to go over 40,000 cup

It would be do-able in the Encore, but not recogmended in the Contender.
