How do the new B&C Carbelite stocks hold up. I've got 1 on a White Muzzel loader thats held up well. Thinking about putting one on a Ruger MKII. Looking for opinions !

I've used two of them on projects over the past two years. The first one was on a .375 Whelen for my brother and the second was on a left-handed Wheatherby Mark V; both were used due to budgets. I found both of them to have too much flex in the forearm--so much that just setting them onto sandbags pushed the forearm into the barrel. If you're going to bed the barrel the full length it probably won't be a problem but if you want to free-float the barrel it is. IMO the only good reason to use them is because they are cheap. Maybe the new ones are better?

My 275 Rigby uses a B&C stock, I guess I've had it about 3 years now and absolutley no complaints. It shoots to the same point no matter the weather and has shown no signs of damage.

I put a B&C full aluminum bedding block stock on a VZ-24 in 458WM. It cracked in the wrist after aprox 50 rounds. I replaced it with a Hogue, and after 300 more rounds not a problem
