DB BillContact them directly. I think the short-action 700 might fit or the model for the Rem 600.

Bill LeeperThe front guard screw on the xp100 is located in a different place than on all the others. Otherwise a 600 stock would work. Regards, Bill.

<Don G>Look at all the Bills!
It's been my experience that it's hard to get answers from HS on what their stocks will fit, unless it's the action it's advertized for.
I have had good luck with HS Precision stocks. Look for a post with Sako in the title to get a conflicting opinion.

<Bill Tompkins>William,
A stock for the Rem. 600 will work but it will take some modification. The XP front action screw is further forward than the 600 so a slot can be milled in the block to allow for this. The XP receiver has a second action screw in the rear that starts from inside the receiver and goes down into the stock which is opposite from "normal" receivers. I use a steel or aluminum pillar for regular fiberglass stocks but in this case with the bedding block, just mark the hole position and drill and then tap for the screw.
Just another Bill.
Boy, it just goes to show that I should have it in my hand before I start giving instructions. The rear receiver screw will go into the magazine cut-out for the Rem. 600, but since you are bedding an XP the magazine well will be filled in I would think.
If I could make a suggestion, in my opinion since there isn't any real "drop-in" stock for XP, why not pick the stock style that you like as long as the XP will work in it and have a good gunsmith fit the XP to it. In the long run it will be faster, easier and cheaper.
Bill
Just as another aside, aluminum bedding blocks can be made and inlet into a stock blank. Speedy Gonzalez(sp) of S,G&Y makes them or any machinist can make one also. E-mail me if I can help. I've done all of this before.
Bill
