i accumulated one of the austin and halleck muzzle loaders the other day. I can't find a listing of anykind of what scope bases would screw on it. Anybody got anything??

My notes show that the Weaver 85 or equivalent are for the A&H 420 series.
Also a 2003 Warne catalog shows a # 950 front and 951 rear for the Maxima's, which is what I used w/ Burris rings.

Curious as to what scope you're going to use, there's quite a distance between rings.

Very accurate guns but very heavy, mine weighs 10.75# loaded and scoped with a wood stock. I got a synthetic this year, don't know how much that will help.

I used a old Burris 1.75x5 that has the turrets up front, fits well.
