Having been away from this board for quite some time I am both shocked and appalled by the name calling and "poor choice" of language that is currently the rage on this board. Furthermore, I believe that I'm not the only one with this observation as I see very few of the "older" members' names listed under contributors. Just as I do, they also must believe it is a waste of time to read a post that degenerates into petty and childlike behavior and therefore is nothing more than meaningless drivel.

Life's too short for such a waste of time and these posters don't deserve an audience. They should keep their personality conflicts to themselves and stop polluting the internet with their garbage.

Most of us could care less about how they feel or what they think about another person but instead would like to find useful information on this board.

As for Bill Tibbe, I would like to offer my great appreciation and gratitude to this gentleman for the untold hours he has spent in making this site interesting and informative.

Thank you Bill! Your witticisms and probing questions were always appreciated.

Thanks also to the other moderators and above all to Saeed for having the patience to keep this forum open despite the lack of civility displayed by some "contributors".

It has evolved a bit, eh?!

And not all for the better, in my opinion.

I now have to be a little more selective in whom I recommend the forum to given the nature of its "new" content.

Welcome back, my friend, and simply ignore the less than honourable diatribes.

There's still a few old timers around that can actually converse without purposely offending!

Amen to all that has preceeded. I was out of the loop in regards to accessing this forum for a few months and I was surprised and dismayed at the language being used by a particular few. It does nothing to burnish the image that we have of ourselves as sportsmen and hunters especially when there is a dedicated cabal set on portraying all hunters and lovers of firearms as a collection of low-brow drunken rednecks who don't have the intelligence or vocabulary to address each other or discuss any topic without reverting to foul or intemperate language.

I have to agree with Herb, the rude tone and asskicking has increased lately.

I dont visit as often as before, but when I do, I mostly skim trough and as soon the shit hits the fan, I abort the thread.
My time is to valuable to use it reading crap.

Anyway ...it�s a free world and anyone can do or say as they like as far as �m conserned, but it somtimes sadden me that AR has taken a dive regarding politeness.

Still, this site is the best on the cyberworld regarding all kinds of issues conserning hunting.
Guess I stick around a while longer.

I agree with you guys. See my post asking for the web address for E.R. Shaw. However, as you say, this is still the best site for information regarding our sport. I wish to thank all of you who have provided information and acted as Gentlemen.

Herb: I'm glad you posted that. I think a lot of the members agree. Personally I enjoy reading posts by Tibbe and Atkinson both. I've been a member for quite awhile, and I can remember that if nothing was being discussed on the Africa Forum, Bill Tibbe would personally post something of interest to get things started.

Just for the record, Bill Tibbe chose to attack me, call me a liar and made a effort to ruin my business by lieing..Now that effects my family, and when you do that you just got on the fighting side of me...What I said I ment, but he will never come out from under his rock..If I ever do come face to face with him I will settle it.

If that perturbs some of you then so be it, but he has been kicked off this and other boards in the past for his behavior...I don't treat people rudely and I do not tolerate rude behavior and to hell with being politically correct. Right is right and wrong is wrong and he was and has been wrong from the get go, and I tolerated it but he went to far this time.

I was not refering to any personal dispute regarding eighter you or anybody else.

What ever personal conflicts going on is none of my business, but as you, I belive in the right for a man to defend himself when he feel he is treathed wrong.

I think with Tibbe you are probably just better to let him go on as it drives him nuts.

Quite some time ago he went out of control on an attack on me on HA. My lack of response drove the poor man nuts.

Of course your situation is different as you are running a hunting business. However, I think personal attacks don't amount to too much on these forums, especially if only from one or two people.

By the way, back in the early days of this site Mr Tibbe was supposed to be a retired man. In fact I got an email from a poster asking me to go easy on Billy boy because he was retired and no had other interests bsides the forums. I think that was about the time Tibbe was doing the Hawk bullet promotions.
