semi-inletted stocks
I am looking for really nice semi-inletted stocks for a future project. Who does the group recomend? I want good figure but, but minterested in a good blank, but would like to save the extra work if I can. I don't have a receiver yet, but as looking for a good Mod. 70 standard legnth (for 30-06, 270, 280, 338-06,) a springfiels or remington 03, 98 Mauser or what ever I can get at a reasonable price. This is a long tern project, just to keep my hand in.
I am just collecting information now.
I am thinking of a CMP 03 if I can find a good one with a matching Bolt. These are $450.00, which seems reasonable.
Thought?

Is it safe to let for a 58 year old man run around in the woods unsupervised with a high powered rifle?
