DeBeeBook: The Gunsmith Machinist -- Any Reviews?
This book is relatively new I think. I was wondering if anyone had a chance to read it and what they thought about it.
Any information helpful...

McCrayI haven't seen the book yet but I have read most of the magazine articles Steve Acker has written for Home Shop Machinist or Projects in Metal. He is seems pretty knowledgable and does a good job of illustrating things with both drawings and photos.
And although I think the book is made up of reprints of those articles, I'll probably get it as a reference book.
Just remember, for every method a gunsmith has, there is at least one other gunsmith who does it a different way!
Joe.

OldsargeIt costs $39+shipping and IS a collection of Steve's articles . . . even says so. They also have a little book on how to build a single shot rifle action.

<Lee in OH>I just received this book on Friday. I feel it is an excellent guide. You must have some experience in setting up work accurately. I definitely think I got my money's worth.
