I just bought a rifle on AR that was stocked and worked on by him. Nice work and I'd enjoy knowing more about him if anyone has any info, I'd appreciate it. I suspect he has passed on, but don't know that for sure.

When considering US based operations of guides/outfitters, check and see if they are NRA members. If not, why support someone who doesn't support us? Consider spending your money elsewhere.

NEVER, EVER book a hunt with BLAIR WORLDWIDE HUNTING or JEFF BLAIR.

I have come to understand that in hunting, the goal is not the goal but the process.

FISH!!

Heed the words of Winston Smith in Orwell's 1984:

"Every record has been destroyed or falsified, every book rewritten, every picture has been repainted, every statue and street building has been renamed, every date has been altered. And the process is continuing day by day and minute by minute. History has stopped. Nothing exists except an endless present in which the Party is always right."

Yes, Bill was from Abilene and I'm almost sure he is no longer with us. He did some very nice work. I once owned a Ruger 77 in 6mm Remington restocked by Bill. It was a beautiful piece of work. Unfortunately, it was something of a waste of his talents in that the rifle was from the era (error!) of very poor Ruger barrels and never shot well, so I eventually traded it off. Its lack of accuracy certainly didn't appear to have anything to do with the stock work as the bedding was precise and no amount of tinkering would shrink the groups appreciably.

Bill used a diamond with "BH" inside as his trademark.
