Headed for Poland.......anything to find???
Greetings........

Headed to Krakaw, Poland next Saturday on business. Any shotguns or rifles I should keep my eyes open for?

Bill,

One thing I thought of. Beware of the dreaded polish firearm that is extremely dangerous. The trigger mechanism will point forward as will the handle but the barrels will point backwards. Often will have a sign that says, only one owner and fired just once by the owner and once by an investigator.

Well since you offered, a nice Polish Kar98a might be nice. Let me know when you get back, and I'll give you a shipping address. Matching bayonet too please.

Have a good trip.

If you do your own gunsmithing, you might want to take a look at the prices on their machine tools. They make some mighty fine chucks, taper assemblies, etc. ("Bison" brand, for instance)

If the prices are right, it might be worth bringing home more machinist accessories than guns....
