customboltNeed a photo of a Mauser MM410Bcocking piece
The camming nose (and possibly the sear) on this one appears to compromised and needs be shaped exactly right before timing of the M70 3 position safety can be done properly.

kendogHere are a couple from DSM 34's un altered. Basically the same parts. Looks like yours has been worked over a bunch. You cam nose looks OK, but the sear surface looks jacked and the angled cut on the right side, which doesn't belong on an original, looks like it was cut with a chain saw.
Let me know if you need better pics or dimensions.

customboltThere we are. Nice.
Thanks a bunch for those pictures. So far, I cleaned up the rough sear face & the off-linear angle of the bottom of the sear with a fine diamond sharpener today to improve on the sluggish let off. Hopefully the angled back cut on the sear won't cause any issues.
If you can spare the time, a top-down picture and a precise measurement of the length of the protrusion from the main body face forward to the end would be a big help. Mine measures 7.27mm and 4.82 to the start of the angle. Hope this makes sense.
Much appreciated.

kda55Is that cocking piece a 2 piece affair? Looks like where the sear piece and body meet it was joined. How is it held together.

customboltAppears to be one solid piece.

customboltExcellent Kendog.
Just what I needed.
It is salvagable. Tip and sear are about 1/16" short. Body length and sear width is fine. This wil be a fun one to correct prior the safety cut.
