Does anyone have any experience with the NECG universal recoil pad? They come in black, brown and RED(!), in thicknesses varying from 3/4 up to 1.5 inches. How do they compare to a Pachmayr Decelerator?

Hard as a rock. They come with a widow's peak if you like that. I used one of the 1.5" models on a stock that was cut too short.

Yeah, I bought one, it was skinny for 3/4" pad, lot of plastic, not much pad, I didnt like the way it looked. I think in a thicker pad they would be fine. One thing I did like about them, they seem to be very stiff and would lay flat or be easy to leather cover. I may buy another some day, but will get a thicker one. The one I had was very soft, just not thick enough, I just bought the wrong pad for the most part.
