One of those chambering questions
Did a fast and dirty search but didn't see anything like this offhand. Getting ready to screw a barrel on a Vanguard/Howa action. Shortchambered. Is the normal shortchambered barrel ok just to stick an AI reamer in it or does it have to have some shaved off the back? This would be a 280 AI. Because they look so sexy

Nope; just ream it but make sure your original brass is a tight fit. If you go too far, you can always fire form using the "bullet jammed into the rifling" method. I have a 280 AI reamer.
