Wanted: Machinist Gunsmith
Looking for a gunsmith who can both thread the
OD of the barrel (Rem 700) and machine/thread
the chamber area for a ML breech plug. Anyone
here, or know of someone, who can do this?

Would think that Jim Kobe could. He has threaded many barrels.

He is at 952 884 6031.

RIP
DannoBoone,
Rusty McGee builds beautiful Flintlocks from scratch, to the proper school conformation for Pennsylvania-Kentucky Rifles.
I talked him out of one of his personal 40-cal Davy Crockett pieces, which uses the Hornady .395-cal swaged lead ball.
She is a beauty.
He also does my modern wildcat bolt action rifles.
And he is a former Remington R&D Engineer (degreed mechanical engineer from U.K.).
He is a gunsmith and a machinist with all the machines.
Should be child's play for him if you want to mail it to him in Kentucky, USPS, FFL to FFL.
