I need a Picatinny base for a Remington 700 magnum action and I was of the opinion that the magnum length (375 H&H length) is longer than the standard Rem 700 (30-06 length) action. My question concerns the screw holes on both these actions or more concisely, will the standard long action base fit the magnum action? I can't find a listing specifically for a base for the M700 magnum action. All help appreciated.

A Remington 700 LA is a Remington LA, be it a .375 H&H or a .30/06.
